Creating the Perfect Gift

 

Big Dreams. 

We wanted to have our own business for a long time, but it wasn’t until we moved to Colorado that we decided this was the right time to do it. Francisco had over 18 years experience working for industrial laser services in Oregon, so our business was born from his expertise. In 2016 we bought a laser and started up Precision Quality Laser in a garden shed in our backyard.

 While most laser engravers begin as product-based businesses, we were the complete opposite. We started off by taking customer-supplied materials and engraving them.  Even though we began a little backwards, it’s been the most rewarding part of what we do. Taking an ordinary item and helping turn it into something extraordinary is what brings us joy! With 2020 throwing all of us the loop it did, we realized that we needed to transition from a primarily service-based business to a product-based business as well. So we have worked hard to source and create quality products that we can engrave for our customers. Even with a great selection of engravable items, we still heartily welcome people bringing us items to engrave.

 We eventually graduated from the tiny garden shed to a bigger garage when we moved. Along the way, we also added a fiber laser (primarily for metal-marking) to the equipment crew. Esperanza and Victor (yes, we named the lasers) ensure we can engrave just about anything!

Francisco continued to work full-time, outside of our business, to support our family of five while Jennifer continued to run the business. Francisco would come home from his ‘real’ job and work until late in the night engraving orders for our customers. During the day, Jennifer homeschooled our three children, answered phone calls and emails, and greeted customers. As our children grew, they started helping out in the business, too. Now as teens, all of them are involved in various aspects of it. It was our family goal to bring Francisco home to work for us, and in December of 2020 we achieved that goal! Now we work side by side, every day, helping people create the perfect gift. We’re a family-run business, from the biggest task down to the smallest detail. 

 Little Changes.

We wanted to effectively communicate our heart and passion to you and under the name, Precision Quality Laser, we weren't doing that. We realized that our name was confusing (people often thought we sold lasers instead of offering engraving services) and hard to remember, so in 2021 we changed our name to Engraved. It was a small change with a huge impact! Now you know exactly who we are and what we do.

Serving You.

At Engraved., we delight in engraving customer-supplied materials. You bring it, we’ll engrave it -- as long as it fits in the machine! We love a good challenge and enjoy finding out-of-the-box solutions to your out-of-the-box requests.  We’re also excited to offer ready-to-engrave products and we are always adding new items for you to create with! We believe that every project matters because it’s about the people behind the project. So whether you have one item or one hundred, you’ll receive the same level of care because you deserve our very best effort!

Sometimes life gets in the way of good intentions and things end up last minute, so we are happy to offer same-day engraving on most items! Not only do we provide exceptional engraving services, we also have basic in-house graphic design (mostly performed by our fabulous teens) to help you get the look you envisioned. From fonts to format, we’ve got you covered!

Your time is valuable and we don’t want you left wondering what’s going on with your order, so we keep in close contact with you. We will happily call, email, or message you about any updates or questions we may have. During business hours, our focus is on you, but we also understand that sometimes things come up outside of business hours; so we have created a text line for urgent engraving needs (719) 600-3110. We offer dedicated appointment slots so that we can give you our undivided attention. You can set up your appointment online or just give us a call and we are happy to schedule it for you. 

Getting Personal.

Here at Engraved., we believe that every project matters, no matter the size. Every project matters because each project represents YOU. Your heart and thoughts are engraved into every object we touch. We’re not just engraving words, we’re engraving the moments of your life and we take that job seriously.

 If you can dream it, we can do it (most of the time)! We’ll engrave just about anything, as long as it isn’t moving! We delight in helping you say what you want to say on your item. If you don’t have the words, we’re also happy to help you brainstorm the ones that feel right. So bring us your ideas and we will take them from design to done.
